Maima Tani
Maima Tani is a versatile artist based in Helsinki. Among other things, she draws detailed drawings with thin pigmented inks and makes imaginative handicrafts by crocheting. Her rich inner world comes out in her art. Her favourite subjects include mushrooms, imaginary sponges and sea creatures. For her own pleasure, Maria illustrates mushrooms and lives with a bogeyman cat. The artist works in her home and in a shared studio with her artist sister-in-law.
