Neea Haapala is a visual artist known for her colorful three-dimensional textile sculptures. Haapala is an artist and works with the Studio Viis collective in Lahti. Inspired by video games and cartoons, Haapala combines fact, fiction, existing characters, and her own creative imagination in her works. In her works, which feature various characters, the choice of materials and colors is emphasized, and according to Haapala, touch is as important as appearance in her works. Haapala graduated as a visual craftsman from Kaarisilla in 2018.
