KO:MI - Belonging in Nature LP

KO:MI is the solo project of musician and multi-instrumentalist Sanna Komi, who has played in numerous indie bands. Komi is known among others from bands such as Pintandwefall and Taikayö Camping.

"Belonging in Nature" is a concept album based on Sanna Komi's doctoral thesis in which she explores the social challenges of wolf conservation from the perspective of political ecology, especially through power structures. Musically, the album is a very ambitious and skilful whole. The album was produced by Lau Nau. The album aims to expand the understanding of what experimental, cross-genre pop music can be.
