The work is about true love and being in complete balance with the other person. The work takes a sentence that sounds at first glance, even desperate, and turns it into a simple fact. The work is about my own relationship, but I also wanted to make the work to criticize modern dating culture, where complete independence and detachment are more the rule than the exception these days.

Veronica de Mannor is a self-taught young artist from Lohja who has worked in many different fields of art during her life. After receiving a PTSD diagnosis, Veronica has focused mainly on visual arts and photography. Acrylics and mixed media are often used as tools in the realization of her works. However, De Mannor does not want to completely bind herself to one art form; in the future she is interested in expanding her artistic work to, for example, the areas of fashion, performance and poetry.
